Our story
It started with a dad, his son, and a spelling contest.
A little help with spelling became a bigger idea: give more families a better way to practice—and more children a reason to believe they can.

Our founder was helping his son prepare for an elementary school spelling contest. He went looking for an app that would make practice easier, but couldn’t find a good fit for what they needed.
So he started building one.
That simple need became SpellingBBB. Months of work went into turning a parent’s wish for a better practice tool into something other families could use, too.
The goal was bigger than getting through a word list: help a child approach the next tricky word with a little more confidence.
